摘要
Compact PCI/PCI总线是一种高速的,独立于CPU的总线结构,其本地总线接口逻辑的设计是应用Compact PCI/PCI总线开发高性能数字通信产品的难点。提出了一种基于PLX公司的桥接芯片PCI9054实现多DSP与CPCI总线连接的方法,并详细说明了PCI9054主从模式的操作过程。这种带有标准总线的通用处理系统,可以方便地利用大量面向标准总线的板卡,易于组建通用的DSP并行处理系统,其特点是应用领域广、可升级能力强、使用方便。
Compact PCI/PCI bus is a kind of high speed bus independence of CPU. To utilize Compact PCI/PCI bus developing digital communication manufactures of high performance,it is important to design the Compact PCI/PCI card's local bus interface logic. This paper proposes a method of using PCI9054 of PLX to realize the interface between multi - DSP and CPCI bus. Moreover, the process of master and slave operation is narrated. A general parallel processing system can be built with CPCI/PCI bus card easily. There are many benefits of using CPCI/PCI bus in general processing system:widly application,expansible,flexibility of its use and so on.
