摘要
描述了一种以低活度133Ba为射线源的便携式背散射检测仪,可以对物体的藏匿空间内是否存在违禁品进行检测,并根据背散射能谱的特点对违禁品的物性做出一些判断;论述了检测仪的系统设计和简化模型的MCNP仿真,给出了检测仪的一些实验结果。
A portable back-scattering detector using ^133Ba as the radiation source is described. The detector can find out whether there is contraband in a hidden space. Some information about the type of the contraband can be given according to the back-scattering spectra. The prototype design of the detector is described, MCNP simulation and physics analysis based on a simplified model is done, and some experiment resuhs are also given.
