摘要
一词多义是一种重要的语言现象,普遍存在于各种语言现实中。一词多义现象是在一定的意象图式的基础上,借助隐喻和转喻模式实现的,是由基本词义向其它词义的引申,而且多义词各义项之间相互关联。从认知语言学的角度研究一词多义现象不仅使我们对一词多义现象有了更深入的理解,同时对外语词汇教学也有一定的启发作用。
Polysemy is a significant language phenomenon, and it appears widely in every language. Polysemy is realized on the basis of image schema by the means of metaphor and metonymy, and it expands from the basic meaning to the extended meanings, with those extended meanings having close relations with each other. To study ploysemy from the view of cognitive linguistics can not only help us to better understand polysemy, but also give us some inspirations in foreign language vocabulary teaching.
