摘要
调查显示,我国非英语专业大学生的口译能力普遍不高,但有强烈的提高口译及口语能力的愿望,主要原因在于在现行的大学英语教学模式下学生所获得的英语口头表达能力的训练太少。本文阐述了把口译运用于大学英语教学的实验和效果,试图探索提高大学生口译能力及英语应用能力的有效途径。
As illustrated by the questionnaire study, college students of non-English major of have a strong desire to improve their interpretation, whereas their present interpretation capability is comparatively low due to the slim chances for their interpretational practice in the current college English teaching syllabus. This paper discusses experiments of applying interpretation into college English teaching and the effect, in the hope of finding possibly effective ways to improve college students' interpretation and other English kills.
