Effect of Al element on the isothermal oxidation behavior of Ti-Si eutectic alloy

摘要 采用真空非自耗电弧炉制备了不同Al质量分数的Ti—Si共晶合金,研究了合金在800℃下的恒温氧化行为.结果表明:添加合金元素Al使得合金的800℃氧化动力学曲线偏离了Ti—Si共晶合金的立方规律,接近于抛物线规律;适量的元素Al可显著提高Ti—Si共晶合金的抗氧化性能. Ti-Si eutectic alloys with various Al content was fabricated through a vacuum nonconsumable arc melting method. The influence of Al content on the isothermal oxidation behavior of Ti-Si eutectic alloys at 800℃ in air was investigated. The mass change data shows that the oxidation kinetics of Ti-Si-A1 cast alloys is closed to the traditional parabolic rate law. Appropriate addition of Al alloying elements effectively improves the oxidation resistance of the Ti-Si eutectic alloys.
