The Effects of Curcumin on Serum Lipid and Endothelial Function in Atherosclerotic Rabbits.

摘要 目的观察姜黄素对动脉粥样硬化(AS)家兔血脂和血管内皮功能的影响。方法复制AS模型家兔20只随机分两组,治疗组(10只)和对照组(10只),均予基础饲料喂养,治疗组每日加予姜黄素200mg灌胃一次,对照组每日给予生理盐水灌胃一次,治程1个月。治疗前后观察血浆甘油三脂(TG)、总胆固醇(TC)、低密度脂蛋白胆固醇(LDL-C)、高密度脂蛋白胆固醇(HDL-C)、血管性血友病因子(vWF)、组织型纤溶酶原激活物(t-PA)和纤溶酶原激活抑制物-1(PAI-1)的变化。结果治程结束时治疗组、对照组各8只家兔进入统计学分析。治疗组较对照组显著降低血浆TG、TC、LDL-C及升高HDL-C水平(P<0.05),PAI-1水平和PAI-1/t-PA比值下降(P<0.01)。结论姜黄素有显著的降低TC、LDL-C、TG和升高HDL-C的作用,一定程度上改善血管内皮功能作用。 Objective To observe the effects of curcumin on serum lipids and endothelial function in atherosclerotic rabbits. Methods Twenty rabbits established atherosclerotic model were randomly divided into two experimental groups: control group ( 10 animals) and treatment group ( 10 animals). Beth groups were fed standard diet for one month. Additionally, the treatment group received oral curcumin at dose of 200 mg/kg·d, and the control group received an oral curcumin- free sodium chloride solution daily during the experiment. Before and after experiment, both groups were collected the blood sample. Serum was separated and used for the assessment of total cholesterol (TC), LDL-C, HDL-C, triglyceride (TG), t - PA, PAl- 1 and vWF. Recruits During the experiment, two rabbits in each group died of accident. Therefore eight rabbits in each group were used to analyse. High cholesterol diet resulted in marked hypereholesterolemia. Compared with the control group, the treatment group significantly decreased serum TG, TC and LDL-C (P〈 0.05), and increased HDL-C (P〈0. 05). Curcumin also decreased serum PAI and the radio of PAI to t - PA in experiment group (P 〈 0.05). Conclusions Curcumin could significantly decrease the serum TG, TC and LDL-C and increase serum HDL-C, it could also improve the vascular endothelial function.
