摘要
研究了加入不同含量MnFe粉对负压自蔓延高温合成(SHS)技术制备的表面复合材料组织和性能的影响。结果表明:MnFe粉在SHS中细化了TiC颗粒,降低了TiC/Fe复合材料的硬度,提高了基底的硬度,改善了复合材料和基底的硬度梯度。
MnFe alloy powder was added into compacted TiC particle block for producing in-situ TiC reinforced steel matrix composites on a steel substrate using self-propagation high temperature synthesis (SHS) technology; and the effect of the powder on the microstructure and hardness of the composites was investigated. The results showed that addition of MnFe can significantly refine the TiC particles, slightly reduce the hardness of the composites, increase the hardness of the substrate near to the composite, and therefore improve the hardness gradient between the composite and the substrate. The SHS mechanism of TiC with addition of MnFe was discussed.
