摘要 阅读是语言学习的主要环节,是获取知识和了解世界的一个重要途径。然而,语言与文化密不可分,任何形式的语言都有其特定的文化内涵。学习语言的过程中,了解相应的文化背景,对阅读材料的理解会起到事半功倍的作用。本文抽取文化方面的几个因素并以之为例,来说明外语阅读中所存在的文化障碍以及克服文化障碍的对策。 Reading is a key link in language learning, and is an important means to gain knowledge and learn about the world. However, language is closely related to culture, and any form of language has its special cultural connotation. In the process of language learning, knowing corresponding cultural background will get twice the result with half the effort in comprehending the reading materials. This paper, taking several examples in culture, shows the cultural obstacles in foreign language reading and the countermeasures to deal with them.
