摘要
本文旨在研究前景化理论及其在小说文本翻译中的运用。作者首先探讨前景化理论的概念,并论述其与偏离理论之间的关系;其次,从前景化与偏离理论的角度解析小说文本的语言特点;再次,简略论述小说文本翻译中前景化语言的辨识;最后,解析《围城》中前景化语言的翻译问题,旨在从实践角度证明前景化理论对小说文本翻译的作用。
This paper aims to make a study of the theory of foregrounding and its application to the translation of novels. The author firstly makes an account of the concept of the theory of foregrounding as well as its relations to the theory of deviation; secondly, discusses about the characteristics of novels based on the theory of foregrounding and deviation; thirdly, briefly talks about the detection of linguistic foregrounding in the texts of novels; finally, analyzes the translation of linguistic foregrounding in the novel Fortress Besieged, which is a showcase that the theory of foregrounding can be a methodology in guiding the translation of novels.
