摘要
以天然产物—高岭土原土和插层高岭土为原料,尝试在相对较低合成温度和对设备要求更简单的条件下制备β-Sialon粉体。试验结果表明,两种样品在1000℃±经碳热还原、氮化反应合成出了β-Sialon晶须,产物含有莫来石和方石英等杂质;以高岭土为原料合成出的β-Sialon粉体的Z值较低,且生成物中还含有氮化硅。在反应条件相同的情况下,以插层高岭土为原料合成β-Sialon的反应进行得较完全。
With natural mineral kaolin and kaolin-hydrazine intercalation complex as raw material, the authors attempted to prepare β-Sialon powders under the conditions of relatively low synthetical temperature and simple equipment demanded. The experimental results indicate that β-Sialon whiskers have been synthesized with two kinds of samples through carbothermic reduction and simultaneous nitridation at 1 000℃. The product also contains impurities including mullite and cristobalite, etc. The Z-value of β-Sialon powders synthesized with kaolin as raw material is relatively low and Si3N4 is in the resultant. The reaction with the intercalated kaolin as raw material to synthesize β-Sialon is accomplished completely in the same reactive environment.
