摘要
目前,美国老年教育方兴未艾,其核心动力是美国老年群体数量和素质层面双重提升之下产生的巨大的教育与学习需求。以老年游学营等为代表的非营利性教育机构目前在美国老年教育舞台上扮演主角。老年教育社会资源的整合、老年人自己成为老年教育的组织者和决策者、基于计算机和网络技术的老年教育的继续发展以及相关领域研究成果的应用和转化等等,将进一步推动美国老年教育的发展。
While the American education of the elderly is developing relatively fast, its key motive lies in the increasing number, and improved quality, of the aged who demonstrate a great demand of learning and education. The non- profit organizations for the aged Americans play an active role in their education. In addition, the communal institutions with the governmental investment help the aged become dominant organizers and decision - makers, and adapt to the informational technology for the further development of their education.
