A result of 1.42% of total flavonoid and 1.0% of naringin in the rhizome of Drynaria fortunei (Kze.) J. Sm. was determined by means of AlCl 3 coloring comparison method. The research proposed a criterion on the qualities of this drug and a brief discussion about its utilization and development was given.
