摘要
为推进我国地理信息科学与技术发展,借鉴UCGIS于2006年提出的地理信息科学与技术知识体系(Geographic Information Science and Technology Body of Knowledge),分析其对我国GIS领域研究的若干启示,包括构建科学合理的地理信息科学与技术学科体系、加强地理空间认知与概念建模的研究、多学科交叉推进地理计算理论与应用研究、推进地理信息科学与技术的相关软科学研究。
The Geographic Information Science and Technology Body of Knowledge proposed by University Consortium for Geographic Information Science(UCGIS)in 2006, as one of the most important outcomes of GIS community in recent years, has given an overall and systematic summary and explanation to the theoretical, technical and methodological issues on GIS&T. It is very significant for GIS researches and applications in China to learn from this body and use it for reference. Firstly, the framework of Geographical Information Science should be created based on the progress and challenges existed in GIS community and ideas from other organizations so as to give guideline for future development. Secondly, ontology and cognition science should be introduced to promote the studies on spatial cognition and conceptual modeling. Geocomputation is another topic that should be emphasized by integrating with computation intelligence and machine learning, and that will extend the domain of geospatial analysis and modeling, Finally,some soft science issues related to organizations, institutions and relationships among GIS, human being and society and GIS education should be paid more attention in order to meet the socialization and popularization trends of GIS development.
