摘要
为了能够方便地产生波形平滑、频率稳定的任意波形,本文提出了一种任意波形发生器的设计方法。文中介绍的任意波形发生器采用直接数字频率合成(DDS)技术,用VHDL语言编程实现,集成于可编程逻辑器件(FPGA)中。设计的任意波形发生器可以通过改变相位步进或分频倍数调节频率,通过改变相位控制字调节初始相位,通过改变D/A电阻网络的基准电压调节幅度。通过实验可以看出,采用该方法设计的任意波形发生器输出的波形与传统的波形发生器相比,具有波形平滑、无毛刺、波形稳定度高、频率稳定度和分辨率高等众多优点。
This paper introduced a way of the arbitrary waveform generator (AWG) to produce the smooth waveform with the stable frequency. The AWG introduced in this article was designed by the basic technique DDS. Integrated into a FPGA, this system was implemented by the programming language VHDL. Designed by the skills introduced in this article, the system possessed many features, such as changing the frequency of the output wave by altering the phase increments or the times of dividing frequency, adjusting the beginning phase by altering phase control key and adjusting the amplitude by altering the reference voltage of the D/AC resistances. Compared with the traditional AWG, It is obvious to see that waveform generated by the AWG has some advantages, such as smooth and stable waveform, stable frequency and high resolve.
