摘要
本文研究了现代建筑运动中的著名理论家西格弗里德·吉迪恩及其两本主要的建筑理论著作——《在法国建造》和《空间、时间和建筑》。通过解读这两本著作,文章分析了吉迪恩如何从19世纪末的钢铁巨构研究中提炼出“空间-时间”这个现代建筑的新观念,并由此为现代建筑“理论立法”。
This article makes a research on Sigfried Giedion, a famous architectural theorist in modern movement in architecture, and two of his main books： Building in France, and Space, Time and Architecture. By analyzing those works, this article explores how Giedion raised ＂Space- Time ＂. a new notion in modern architecture, from his studying on steel mega-structures in late 19th century and through it how he made ＂legislations ＂ for modern architecture.
