摘要
ArcGIS软件系列提供了一种新的三维要素类型Multipatch,在ArcScene中能够显示Multipatch类型的三维模型,通过ArcCatalog也可以创建空白的Multipatch类型的数据集。但是,仅仅通过Desktop的操作不能编辑或者修改Multipatch。从ArcObejects开发角度,介绍了创建Multipatch三维模型的两种方法:直接创建Multipatch和将其他三维建模软件创建的三维模型转化为Multipatch,并以校园三维查询系统为例,比较了其优缺点。
There is a new 3D geometric type named Multipatch in ArcGIS, which can be shown in ArcScene or stored in a new Feature Class with ArcCatalog, but it can＇t he edited with ArcGIS Desktop. This paper presents two ways as for how to create 3D-models by programming ArcObejects： the one is to create Mulfipatch directly; the other is to convert the existed 3D-models into Multipatch. dimensional query system for examole and comoared their merits Finally the authors have taken the campus three and demerits.
