摘要
地方理论从人的感觉、心理、社会文化、伦理道德的角度来认识人与地方的关系。地方是一个充满意义的空间,地方感是地方的感觉结构。旅游地是一个地方,旅游活动是一种心理体验,旅游者在旅游地的体验是一种地方感,有可能也有必要将地方理论引进旅游研究。从地方理论的人文主义地理学和环境心理学研究取向出发,探讨地方理论基本内容及其旅游学涵义,回顾地方理论在国外旅游研究中的应用,最后给出一些值得深入研究的领域。
Place theory views the relationship between human and place in emotional ,psychological ,cultural and ethical perspeefives. Place is space given meaning by human experience in it. Sense of place refers to a set of identities of and attachments to a place that are held by individuals or groups. Tourist destinations are places,tourist experience is a sense of place. Therefore ,it is reasonable and necessary to employ the place theory to tourism research. The paper presents researches on place theory with re- gard to humanistic geography and environmental psychology,as well as their implication for tourism. Some further researches are proposed.
