摘要
竞争力是现代市场主体所必备的能力。实践证明,核心竞争力是企业或大学基业常青、永续发展的关键因素。本文以我国高等教育迅速发展和中国入世以后,高等教育面临市场化、国际化的挑战为背景,对高等教育核心竞争力的内涵、外延、特征和决定因素进行了探讨分析,并论述了提升高等教育核心竞争力的策略。
Competitiveness is an ability necessary for any entity in the modern market. Experiences in the past few years have it that this is particularly true of China's businesses and higher education institutions for their sustaining development. This paper mainly discusses the defining of the core competitiveness of China's higher education in terms of its connotation, denotation, features and underpinning factors in the context that higher education in China has been developing rapidly since China's entry of World Trade Organization and that China's higher education is faced with challenges resulting from globalization and China's practice of market economy. Strategies for promoting the core competitiveness of China's higher education institutions are also discussed.
