摘要
提出一种变换域指纹图像预处理增强方法。应用小波变换分离出低频信号和高频信号,对高频信号送入方向性滤波器组进行方向性子带分解,对各方向子带图像分块,根据块能量分布情况对子带图像重新加权处理。子带图像重建出高频信号加上原低频信号得到预处理结果,达到抑制噪声,增强特征目的。实验表明算法对指纹图像处理效果良好。
Proposes a method of preprocessing on fingerprint for enhancement in the domain of transform. The algorithm firstly decomposes a fingerprint image into approximation and detail by wavelet transform. Then the detail signal is submitted to DFB for directional filter-based analysis. Processes every directional subband image based on energy distributing of block among all bands. Synthesizing the reconstructed detail signal and the approximation produces the enhanced fingerprint. The experiment results show that proposed method reduces the influence of noise, and is effective for fingerprint preprocessing.
