摘要
随着中国加入WTO，材料行业涉外服务的需求越来越大。在人才市场，对既懂材料专业知识又懂英文的复合人才比对只懂专业或外文的人才的需求更加迫切。该文通过机械工程材料双语教学，探讨中英文双语环境下的教学，从学生、教材、学习环境、教师和教学方法上探讨提高双语教学效果的方法。
Since Claim＇ s entry of the WTO., the demands of materials services conceming foreign affairs are becoming more and more urgent. In human resources market, the need of pure English or materials talents has already changed to inter- disciplinary talents of mastering materials and English. This paper puts forward some suggestions on how to launch the bilingual teaching of the materials for mechanical engineering in universities, requirement of the teachers, requirement of the students, enviromnent, teaching materials and teaching method, etc, concerning with bilingual teaching.
