The development of isotopic mass spectrometry and inorganic mass spectrometry in China from November 1994 to October 1996 has been reviewed.It included solid isopotic mass spectrometry,gas isotopic mass spectrometry,accelerator mass spectrometry,spark source mass spectrometry,inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry,glow discharge source mass spectrometry,isotopic dilution mass spectrometry ,secondary ion mass spectrometry,laser resonance ionazation spectrometry time of flight,electron microprobe,proton microprobe ,laser microprobe,and their application in isotopic geology chronology,isotopic geochemistry,metrology,nuclear science,material science,medicine and environmental science,with 149 references cited
