摘要
以宁夏无烟煤为原料,采用KOH活化法制备高比表面积活性炭。首先考察了煤与KOH的混合方式对活性炭比表面积的影响,发现采用操作简单、省时的物理混合方法得到的结果优于浸渍法;然后以物理混合法为前提,考察了KOH与煤的比例、活化温度以及活化时间对活性炭比表面积和收率的影响。实验表明采用物理活化法,在氮气流量200mL/min的情况下,制备高比表面积活性炭的最佳活化条件为:KOH与煤的比例为6:1,活化温度为800℃,活化时间为1h;在此条件下可以得到以微孔为主,比表面积为2706m2/g的活性炭。
High-specific-surface-area activated carbons have been prepared using Taixi anthracite as raw material by chemical activation technology with potassium hydroxide. The influence of mixing method of KOH and coal on the specific surface area of the activated carbon was first analyzed. It has been found that higher BET surface area was got by physical mixing method than impregnation method, and the physical mixing method is a very easy and timesaving preparation method. Then the activating agent/coal ratio, activation temperature and activation time were investigated with physical mixing method. Activated carbon with surface area of 2706 m^2/g and substantial microporosity was obtained at theoptimal activation conditions (the ratio of KOH/coal is 6, and activated 60 minute under 800 ℃ with the 200 mL/min nitrogen flow)
