【目的】比较大鼠佩戴两种咬合板升高咬合垂直距离(OVD)后脊柱形态的变化。【方法】24只成年Wistar大鼠随机分为C组(对照组)、Full-S组(戴上颌全牙列咬合板),Post-S组(戴上颌双侧后牙咬合板)。咬合板采用印模和模型技术在体外制作、口内衬垫、调牙合粘接。戴牙后观察大鼠咬合关系及行为、体重变化,并在正位X线片上测量颈椎C4、胸椎T1、T6、T10和腰椎L4中点偏离脊柱中线的距离,侧位片上观察胸椎曲度(θ)角的变化。体重及定点测量数据作统计学分析。【结果】Full-S组大鼠与其他两组比较出现咬合偏斜,生长受抑制;正位片上T10和L4偏离中线值及侧位片上θ角Full-S组显著大于Post-S大鼠组和对照组(P<0.05),而Post-S组与对照组间差异无统计学意义(P>0.05)。【结论】全牙列咬合板可能导致大鼠脊柱排列形态的改变;双侧后牙咬合板用于大鼠咬合垂直距离升高对脊柱形态无明显影响。
[Objective] To compare two types of occlusal splints used to increase occlusion vertical dimension (OVD) on vertebral alignment in rats. [Methods] Twenty-four male Wistar rats were divided into three groups. Eight in Full-S group wore maxillary full arch fixed occlusal splint, eight in Post-S group wore maxillary balanced posterior splints and the control group were untreated. Every rat was weighed and registered the occlusal discrepancy, as well as underwent frontal and lateral total body radiographs one month after the occlusal splints were placed. Variables of the distances between the reference points (centers of the C4, T1, T6, T10, and IA vertebrae) and the middle line; and the angle of the curvature in thoracic region were measured. Statistical analysis was processed with SPSS for Windows for one-way ANOVA with LSD test for multiple comparisons (α=0.05). [Results] The deviation of occlusal position and lost weight were found in the rats of Full-S group, while it were normal in other two groups. In frontal radiographs: Significant changes in the alignment of T10 and IA vertebra were observed between Full-S group and the other two groups (P〈 0.05), while there was no significant difference in any point of the vertebra between Post-S group and control group (P 〉0.05). In lateral radiographs: the angle of the curvature in thoracic region in Full-S group was remarkably greater than that in Post-S group and control group (P〈 0.05). There were no significant differences between Post-S group and control group (P 〉0.05). [Conclusions] (1) Maxillary full arch fixed occlusal splint (Full-S) could change the mode of occlusion, which induced the alteration of vertebral alignment in rats. (2) Maxillary balanced posterior splints (Post-S) used to increase OVD had no influence on vertebral alignment in rats.
