Dynamics of litter decomposition in Chinese fir plantation

摘要 在福建三明16 a生的杉木人工林内,利用网袋法对叶凋落物的分解和C、N元素释放进行了研究.经过2 a的分解后,凋落物残留率为24.58%,平均分解系数为0.776 4,周转期为3.99 a.凋落物C、N浓度随分解时间的进行而逐渐减少,C/N比也呈下降趋势.C、N残留率与凋落叶干物质残留率表现出显著的正相关性,表明两元素的释放是自身释放和干物质消失双重作用的结果. In a 16-year-old Chinese fir plantation in Sanming, Fujian, the litter-bag method was used to study leaf litter decomposition and release of C and N elements. The remaining percentage of the leaf litter was estimated to be 24.58% after two years of decomposition. Based on Olson exponential equation, the litter decomposition coefficient (k) and the time required for 95% decomposition were 0.776 4 and 3.99 a, respectively. The concentrations of C and N and C/N ratio in the leaf litter decreased along with decomposition process. The remaining percentage of C and N was positively correlated with the mass remaining percentage, which suggests the release of C and N is both controlled by the release of the elements and the loss of dry mass.
