东太平洋海隆13°N附近Fe-氧羟化物的形成:矿物和地球化学证据 被引量:9

摘要 测定了东太平洋海隆13oN附近1个站位(103o54.48′W,12o42.30′N,水深2655m)的Fe-氧羟化物的矿物和化学组成.Fe-氧羟化物为隐晶质,含少量闪锌矿微晶.与其他海区的Fe-氧羟化物相比,其化学组成的变化范围较小,Fe,Si,Mn含量分别达39.90%,8.92%和1.59%,具有高Cu(0.88%~1.85%)和Co(66×10?6~704×10?6)含量,以及Co+Cu+Zn+Ni>1.01%的特点,微量元素As,Co,Ni,Cu,Zn,Ba,Sr和常量元素Fe,Ca,Mg,Al的含量落在东太平洋海隆13oN附近热液硫化物的变化范围内,反映出其是热液硫化物经次生氧化作用形成的产物.东太平洋海隆13oN附近1个站位Fe-氧羟化物的ΣREE较低(5.44×10?6~17.01×10?6),具有明显的负Ce异常(0.12~0.28),与海水具有相似的球粒陨石标准化REE配分模式形态,明显不同于热液柱中悬浮物和喷口流体的REE组成特征,表明Fe-氧羟化物形成过程中REE主要来自海水,可构成海水中REE的一个汇.热液柱颗粒物的快速沉淀导致了其REE含量较低和Mn含量偏高,Fe-氧羟化物对海水的吸附作用,使其从海水中捕获了部分V和P等元素.东太平洋海隆13oN附近该站位Fe-氧羟化物的形成过程是一个低温、有氧条件下的硫化物次生氧化过程,所形成的Fe-氧羟化物与东太平洋海隆13°附近的硫化物平均值相比,具有较高的Fe,Cu,Co含量,和较低的Zn,Pb,Cd含量.
