摘要
从中西文化中"龙"和"凤"的文化内涵入手,分析了中英文中一些动物名词的文化内涵存在差异的原因,并阐述其差异对翻译提出的要求。
Starting with the different cultural connotations of ＂dragon＂ and ＂phoenix＂ in Chinese and English, this paper analyzes four reasons for different cultural connotations of some animals in Chinese and English, and introduces methods of translating Chinese-English animal words.
