摘要 为了提高TrueType字体数控雕刻的美观程度,从图像细化和轮廓提取两方面对已有的文字矢量化方法进行了改进。根据TrueType字体无级缩放的特点,用数学方法对矢量化数据点进行调整,然后把结果编制成数控代码,输入雕刻机进行加工。以雕刻效率和美观程度为指标,阐明了两种方法的优缺点和适用范围。改进后的方法基本满足了用户对文字雕刻的综合要求。 In order to perfect the CNC engraving of TrueType fonts, the method of character vectorization is improved from two aspects, i.e. digital image thinning and character outline extraction. The TrueType fonts can be enlarged and diminished without scale, which makes it possible that the vector data points can be regulated through mathematics methods. The coordinates of the data points are transformed to program CNC coding which can be inputted into a CNC machine to engrave. The advantage, disadvantage and applicability of the former and present methods are specified according to engraving efficiency and perfection. The present method generally meets the user's expectations of character engraving.
