摘要
多媒体技术的应用并没有在专业课教学中达到预期的效果,主要是由于通常使用的PowerPoint软件在课堂教学上的先天不足。通过英语教学中运用新的软硬件技术来进行媒体数据采集和处理的方法,比较并分析了电教中的多媒体教学对于语言课程和专业课程效果的影响及其原因,提出了相应的改善的办法,开发了相关软件作为根本的解决方案。
Acquisition and processing of medium data via the new hardware and software technologies for English teaching are introduced. Effects of multimedia teaching on learning of the English and specialty courses are compared and analyzed. The multimedia technology application failed to achieve the expected results in teaching of the specialty courses, owing to the inherent disadvantages of the PowerPoint software for class teaching. Several remedies are recommended. We developed a new presentation software in attempt to find an ultimate solution to this problem.
