摘要
基于在酸性介质中,碘酸根在溴化钾的催化作用下使甲基橙氧化褪色的原理,建立了测定微量碘的新方法。主要研究了碘酸根氧化甲基橙褪色光度法测定碘的实验条件,测得其最大吸收波长在510nm,表观摩尔吸收系数为3.4×10~4 L·mol^(-1)·cm^(-1)。吸光度变化值与碘酸根浓度在0-35ug/25mL范围内呈线性关系,回收率为89.6%-107.1%。该方法用于测定碘盐中碘的含量。结果令人满意。
A new method has been found for the determination of iodine in edible salt. The method is based on oxdation-deeoloration of Methyl Orange with iodate in an HCI medium with KBr as the catalyst. The system has a maximum absorption at 510 nm with a molar absorptivity of 3.4×10^4L·1mol^-1·cm^-1. A linear relationship is established in the range of 0-35ug/25mL of iodate. The recovery is between 89.6% and 107.1%. The method can be used for the determination of the microamount iodine in edible salt and other food.
