摘要
电子商务是通过互联网和WWW使用电子数据传输进行的商务活动,它以信息技术为基础,因此电子商务的实施和发展与信息技术发展是密切相关的。但由于电子商务的全球性特点,不同的国家,在文化和法律结构上都存在很大的差异,即便在同一国家不同的地区,也存在各种文化的差异,所以说电子商务是跨文化的一种商务活动。开展电子商务活动,必须认识到在开展业务的各国家、各地区的文化差异,并采取相应的方法和措施,突破构成文化的语言及习惯等方面的差异造成的障碍,才能顺利地开展商务活动,并取得成功。
E-commerce is a series of commercial activities conducted through the Internet and the World Wide Web using electronic data transmission.With information technology as infrastructure, e-commerce development is closely related with implementation of information technology. However, as it has noticeable features of the international or cross-regional, e-commerce naturally raises issues against different countries, cultures and legal structures. Even in a country with different cultures, problems are raised from time to time. Therefor, e-commerce defined as a cross-cultural business. E-commerce companies should do enough to recognize both national and international cultural differences and adopt appropriate methods and take measures to break through cultural and linguistic obstacles. Only in this way could it be carried efficiently to success.
