摘要
在现代派文学中,意识流小说艺术象征显示出独特的个性。人物心灵意识内容是意识流小说中构建象征体的主要生活材料,形成了多层次整体性象征基本模式,并在象征表现手法上凸现其独特的创造。这种艺术主要通过人物心理意识、心理物象、心理感觉印象、矛盾错位的心理意识以及物理时空意识内容等,同心理时空意识内容融汇去建构成象征关系。它所产生的美学特征是:象征意蕴的把握较为曲折;象征意蕴类型更为宽泛多样;象征的审美意蕴更为隐秘,更具有朦胧美;但哲理抽象性则相对较弱。
Artistic symbol in the stream of consciousness novels show its unique characteristics in modernistic literature. The characters＇ mental consciousness is the main material to construct the symbolic object in stream of consciousness novels, and it forms a basic symbol pattern that is a multi-leveled whole, moreover it displays the unique creativity in the symbolic techniques. This style of art constructs the symbolic connection through the characters＇ mental consciousness, the concrete mental object, the subjective impression, the incompatible and inaccurate mental as well as the combination of physical space consciousness and the mental space consciousness. It produces several aesthetic features： the grasp of symbolic meaning is more twisted, the types of symbolic meaning are wider and more various, the aesthetic meaning of symbols is more implied, and the beauty of obscurity
