摘要
在双折射调谐器的设计中,都认为o、e光在晶片内传播近似为同方向。由于晶片前表面的双折射o、e光的传播方向并不相同,在晶片后表面上两光有分离,产生了走离效应。本文用惠更斯原理分析了双折射调谐器中o、e的这种走离效应及其对晶体调谐性能的影响,同时指出了双折射调谐器设计中对光轴优化取向时应兼有较小的走高效应。
In the design of birefringent filter(BRF), the propagation of o、 e lights in the crystal plate is approximately treated as in the same direction. In fact, the propagating directions of o、 e light are different on the front surface of the plate. So the o、 e light are seperated by the birefrigence on the back surface of the plate, producing the wallkoff effect. In this paper, by Huygens'principle we have analysed the walkoff effect and its influcence on the tuning properties of the plate, and also indicated that the lower walkoff effect is needed for the optimum orientation of optic axis in the BRF design.
