摘要
传统的分形图像编码方法,由于编码时间长,严重影响其广泛应用。提高分形图像压缩的编码速度是目前分形图像编码研究的重点。文章结合小波多尺度分析的特点,提出了基于方差的小波和分形混合编码算法。实验结果表明:本文的算法在重构图像的峰值信噪比(PSNR)略有下降的情况下,编码时间减少了98.67%和压缩比提高了4倍。
Due to long time for encoding, conventional fractal image coding technique is not suitable for wide use. Increasing the speed of fractal coding for image compression is the key point in recent researches of fractal image coding, In this dissertation we propose a hybrid wavelet and fractal coding for image compression based on variances by using the multi-seale analysis characteristic of wavelet analysis. Our conclusion turns out that the method proposed in this dissertation improves the encoding time decrease 98.67and compression ratio increase 4 times, when the peak-signal-to- noise-ratio (PSNR) of the reconstructed image has a slight decrease.
