Multiresolution modeling of three-dimensional feature-based CAD models

摘要 为满足工业界对特征表示的三维CAD模型的特殊需求,提出了一种新型三维CAD模型的多分辨率造型方法,解决了传统多分辨率造型方法的许多不足:简单基于模型几何操作、不含工程设计信息和无法根据设计意图简化等.通过分析特征间的相互依赖关系,设计了一种"去依赖特征抑制"(de-dependence feature suppressing,DDFS)操作,以实现模型的任意层次简化.实践表明,该多分辨率造型方法不但可以大大降低模型复杂度,而且其简化模型更加符合工程设计人员的意图. A new method for multiresolution modeling of feature-based CAD models was proposed, which can effectively meet the engineering requirements for CAD models in the industry. Compared to existing multiresolution modeling methods, the new method is based on high-level semantic operations. The CAD model can be simplified according to the designing intent by the method, and the levels of detail (LOD) model can contain engineering information. A de-dependence feature suppressing operation was developed for various LODs simplifications of feature models. Example models illustrated the feasibility and effectiveness of the new method.
