Relationship between the major components of metabolic syndrome and thyroid function

摘要 代谢综合征(MS)主要组分与甲状腺功能密切相关:胰岛素抵抗(IR)和体重均与促甲状腺激素(TSH)正相关,1型糖尿病与自身免疫性甲状腺疾病(AITD)相关。MS可影响甲状腺功能,如高血糖增加AITD的发病危险。而甲状腺功能异常可影响并促进MS病情发展:IR加强TSH对血脂的影响,TSH促进脂肪细胞分泌白细胞介素(IL)-5,脂肪酸可能引起细胞和垂体的甲状腺激素抵抗,甲状腺激素抑制血管重塑。但甲状腺功能在MS中的具体作用需进一步研究。 There are links between thyroid function and the major components of metabolic syndrome (MS). There is a positive correlation between thyrotropin(TSH) and insulin resistance or body weight. Type 1 diabetes mellitus is related to autoimmune thyroid disease(AITD). The major components of MS influence thyroid function. High glucose levels increase the incidence of AITD. In contrast, thyroid disfunction influence the major components of MS. Thyroid hormone receptor strengthen the effect of TSH on serum lipid concentrations. TSH stimulates the release of interleukin-6 from adipocytes. Fatty acids may lead to thyroid hormone resistance in cells and pituitary. Thyroid hormone inhibits vascular remodeling. The effect of the thyroid on MS need further research.
