摘要
对60名同一水平受试的10次翻译作业总分进行独立样本t检验,结果显示:课内作业与课外作业在翻译质量上存在显著差异,课外翻译作业质量优于课内作业,课外翻译作业有利于培养学生自主学习的能力,但对低水平学习者似乎没有显著效果。
In order to find out which way is more effective, in-class or out-class translation assignments, this research aims to test the total scores of ten translation exercises submitted by 60 subjects of the same level for independent samples t test. The study results show that taking its total effect into consideration, there is a significant difference between the in-class assignment and the out-class one, and better translation quality lies in the latter, which has been proved to be conducive to students′ ability of selflearning, whereas there seems to be no significant result to those passive learners of low English proficiency in the latter practice.
