摘要
杜威反对以学科的形式呈现课程。他主张课程应当还原为儿童的生活经验,只有连续的、能促进儿童生长的经验才能进入课程。杜威重视儿童在教育中的中心地位,但并不是主张教育者对儿童放任自流,相反,杜威对教育者提出了更高的要求。教育者必须充分了解和尊重儿童的生活与儿童的世界,在儿童已有经验和未来经验之间架设"桥梁",让儿童在游戏、生活中"不知不觉"地获得新的经验。
Dewey objected that curriculum is composed of subjects. He argued that curriculum should be regarded as children's experience which must be continuous and promote children's growth. Dewey's childcentered pedagogy doesn't incite educators let children alone but require educators much more. Educators should understand children's life more, and build a "bridge" between experiences children have had and those they will have, and make them obtain new experience continuously and unconsciously.
