徐特立教育思想博大精深,在理论和实践结合上尤为突出。他提倡教育、科研、生产三位一体的教育模式;重视个性发展、培养具有创造性的人才;强调理论联系实际。重温徐老的教育思想,对于我们加深对"科教兴国"及"科学技术是第一生产力"的理解,全面推进素质教育、加快教育教学改革、培养创造性人才,都有很强的理论指导价值和积极的现实意义。
Xu Teli's educational philosophy is profound, and particularly outstanding in the combination of theory with practice. He advocated a trininty educational mode consisting of education, research and production, attache great attention to the development of personality and to the cultivation of creative talents, and emphasized the application of theory to practice. Reliving Xu's educational thoughts is of theoretical guiding value and of practical significance, because it can deepen our under- standing of the concepts that "Science and technology can rejuvenate our country" and "Science and technology are the primary productive force", promote quality education comprehensively, accelerate the reform of education and instruction, and cultivate creative talents.
