摘要
以推动人类文明进步发展的观念为先导,以科学的态度、求实的观点、详实的资料,从地质学、岩石学、石文化为切入点,详细介绍中国观赏石文化的起源、发展、现状,赏石审美的本质、特性、形式、石体标准、传统性、现代性特征和以小见大、以丑为美的审美理念。对赏石修身养性,以石陶情和赏石文化与"人与自然和谐发展"的永恒主题的学术价值进行评价。
Taking guide as the notion of promoting progress and development of human civilization, three issues are introduced in details by scientific attitude ,viewpoint which strives for truth and detailed data from the breakthrough point of geology,petrology and stone culture. The first one is the origin, development and current situation of stone appreciation culture in China, second one is the essence, properties ,form, stone body standard, tradition, and modem characteristics of ornamental stone aesthetics, third one is esthetic idea of seeing the big one from small＇ s and regarding ugliness as beauty. In the paper the author appraises academic values of cultivating personal character and morality in enjoying stones, edifying temperament by stones and stone appreciation culture,the eternal theme of harmonious development between human and the nature.
