摘要
运用Okada方法计算了2007年6月3日宁洱MS6.4地震在其MS5.1强余震破裂面上产生的静态库仑破裂应力变化。结果表明,该静态库仑破裂应力变化量为0.36MPa,超过"触发阈值"(10-2MPa)1个数量级,说明宁洱6.4级地震在其5.1级强余震破裂面上引起的应力变化可能触发了该强余震的发生。
Okada's method was used to calculate the change of static Coulomb failure stress on the failure plane of the largest aftershock (Ms5.1) caused by the 2007 Ning'er Ms6.4 earthquake. It is found that the stress change on the aftershock failure plane is 0.36 MPa, larger than 0.01 Mpa, the threshold for triggering earthquakes. Therefore, the largest aftershock was probably triggered by the Coulomb failure stress change caused by the main shock.
