摘要
本研究分析了中国学习者口语语料库(SECCL)朗读任务中介词表达的突显性。利用Praat对14名英语专业大学生的4年朗读语料进行标注,考察中国英语学习者是否对本族语者通常弱读的介词(功能词)赋予音高或时长上的突显。研究还考察了不同功能介词的突显情况,并分析了4年的发展趋势。结果发现,中国英语学习者对部分介词赋予韵律突显,其中自由介词的突显比例略高于封闭介词。综合4年的朗读情况,介词突显的比例基本呈现下降的趋势,但不稳定,有一定的反复。
This study explores whether prepositions are prominent in Chinese EFL learners' read speech in terms of pitch, intensity, and duration. The data of 14 students' reading story aloud over four years are taken from the SECCL (Spoken English Corpus of Chinese Learners). Praat 4. 3 is used for annotation. In addition, prepositions are categorized based on their functions and the developmental trend is explored. The results indicate that a small part of prepositions are prominent. The percentage of prominence in free prepositions is a bit higher than that in bound prepositions. To summarize, the percentage of prominence over four years is roughly declining, showing to some extent the learners' improvement in this regard. This study has significance in oral English teaching.
