摘要
为了分析液晶显示器(LCD)上的运动模糊现象,基于人眼视觉感知模型,使用精确测量到的液晶亮度响应曲线来计算运动图像响应时间(MPRT).MPRT作为运动模糊的量化参数,被写入VESA的平板显示器测量标准当中.通过测试几种不同发光特性的LCD,从可能影响运动模糊的各方面因素入手,利用测量结果计算MPRT,讨论了其对于运动模糊降低的作用.结果表明,通过改善液晶的响应速度,帧频、背景光特性都可以在一定程度上降低运动伪像,但并不能完全消除.另外通过仿真计算指出了采用MPRT来衡量扫描背景光LCD上运动模糊的不足之处是没有考虑多层鬼影的现象.
To analyze motion blur on LCDs (liquid crystal displays) the accurately measured liquid crystal response curves (LCRC) are used to calculate motion picture response time (MPRT) directly, based on the human perception model. MPRT now is standardized in VESA FPDM (video electronics standard association flat panel display measurement) as one of the parameters to characterize motion blur on LCD. Several LCDs with different light emission behavior were tested, and from the measurement results the influence of proposed factors on motion blur on LCD work is discussed. The results indicate that the improvement of liquid crystal response, operation frequency and backlight behavior can reduce motion blur but can not completely eliminate it. Additionally simulation results for scanning backlight panel show that the MPRT is insufficient to be a judgement for motion blur on impulse type LCD since the ghost phenomenon is not taken into account.
