一种光开关集成可调衰减器的设计与应用

摘要 介绍了一种兼具光开关功能、低成本、小体积的静电驱动微电机系统(MEMS)可调光衰减器件。器件采用了静电驱动微反射镜和光纤三芯准直器,具有良好的光学性能和可靠性指标。给出了器件的衰减量和驱动电压的关系、光学性能的分析以及相关试验结果。对于该器件的灵活应用,介绍了一种PLC技术的,新型、实用、低成本的ROADM设计方案。 The article reports an electrostatic driving micro-electromechanical system (MEMS) and switch integrated variable optical attenuator (VOA) that uses an electrostatic micro-torsion mirror combined with a three-fiber-optic collimator. The VOA has a good optical and reliable performance. The paper introduces the relationship of its attenuations and driving voltages, the analysis of optical performance, experimental result and its application in a new type, applied and low cost PLC ROADM basing on these characteristics.
