摘要
以聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯(PMMA)改性的二氧化钛为电泳颗粒,Span80为电荷控制剂,四氯乙烯为分散介质,油溶红为背景色,制备了分散性和稳定性良好的电泳基液。并以此作为囊芯,明胶-阿拉伯树胶为壁材,采用复合凝聚法制备了红白色电子墨水微胶囊。研究了Span80的含量对制备胶囊的影响。将微胶囊涂覆在ITO玻璃上,制成电子墨水显示原型器件。在直流电压的驱动下,电子墨水显示原型器件实现了图形的显示。
The eleetrophoretic fluid containing span80, oil red and TiO2 coated with PMMA particles were homodispersed in tetrachloroethylene (TCE). Gelatin-Arabic gum microcapsules containing the suspension as the core material were prepared by the complex coacervation. The influence of the concentration of Span80 was also studied. Electronic ink display prototype was prepared by coating electrophoretic ink microcapsules on ITO substrate.
