摘要
根据断裂的地质、地貌特征和卫星影像资料,阐述了老挝琅南塔断裂的新构造运动表现和运动方式。结果表明:(1)琅南塔断裂的新构造活动主要表现为正断层兼左旋走滑运动,为晚更新世活动断裂;(2)沿断裂历史上发生过一系列6级以上地震,特别是2007年5月16日老挝班南坎6.6级地震与该断裂的活动密切相关。
According to the geological and geomorphic characteristics of the Louang Nam Tha fault in Laos and the satellite photograph explanation for it, we studied the neo-tectonic movement behaviors and patterns of the fault. The results show : ( 1 ) the neo-tectonic activity of the fault is mainly formal and left-lateral dip-slip, the updated active time is in late-Pleistocene; (2) there were a series of earthquakes with M≥6.0 occurring along the fault, especially the Ban Namkhan, Laos, Ms6. 6 earthquake on May 16, 2007, concerning the activity of the fault very nearly.
