摘要
本文用琼脂糖凝胶电泳检测轮状病毒RNA,并与聚丙烯酰胺凝胶电泳的结果相比较,结果43份聚丙烯酰胺凝胶电泳阳性的标本,琼脂糖凝胶电泳亦均为阳性。两种方法检测轮状病毒RNA的敏感度一致,而琼脂糖电泳省时、简便、经济。可作为一种快速方法用于轮状病毒感染的筛选和快速诊断。
1.4% agarose gel electrophoresis was applied to detect rotaviral-RNA. The results were compared with that of polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (PAGE). 43 Positive specimens by PAGE were detected on the agarose gels and were all positive, too. The agarose gel method provided results only in 3 hours. It indicated that agarose gels and PAGE were equally sensitive and specific to detect rotaviral RNA. Agarose gel electrophoresis could be of value in rapid screening and diagnosis of rotavirus infection as a sensitive, specific, and inexpensive test.
