摘要
陈嘉庚注重人才培养,他的育人理念很独特。他认为学校应该培养具备中华民族文化传统和西方现代文明思想相结合的人才,具有专业知识和实际历练的应用人才,德、智、体全面发展的合格人才。
Tan Kah Kee gives priority to personnel training ; his concept of cultivating talent is unique. He believes that schools should nurture talented persons of combining Chinese culture and traditions with modem Western civilization, of professional knowledge and practical experience, and of being well-rounded in moral, intellectual and physical developments.
