摘要
研究了短切碳纤维增强LAS玻璃—陶瓷基(简称C/LAS)复合材料的制备工艺及纤维含量,热压工艺对其强韧性的影响,获得了短切碳纤维均匀分散并单向排列的复合材料,当纤维体积分数为31%左右时,材料强度和断裂韧性分别达到430MPa和88MPa·m12。用光学显微镜和扫描电子显微镜观察了复合材料中短切碳纤维的分布状态和断口形貌。研究发现短切碳纤维增强LAS玻璃———陶瓷的机理主要是载荷传递,纤维桥接和纤维拔出。
In this Paper, fabrication process of chopped carbon fiber reinforced LAS glass ceramic matrix composities and the effect of fiber content and hot pressing operation on the composites strength and toughness were studied. The composites with fibers dispersed homogeneously and oriented unidirectionlly were obtained. The flextural strength and fracture toughness of the composites with 31vol% carbon fibers were about 430MPa and 8.8MPa·m 12 respectively. Distribution of chopped carbon fibers in the composites and fracture surfaces of the materials were examined. It is concluded that the main toughening and strengthening mechanisms are based on load transfer, fiber bridging and fiber pull out.
