摘要
在中学英语的教学中,存在着素质教育和"应试教育"两种不同的教育思想,英语作为基础教育阶段的基础学科,它首先要承担"提高中华民族的思想道德素质、文化科学素质和身体心理素质"的历史任务。通过优化课堂教学目标,改进教学方法、创设交际情境,提高教师素质等途径,培养学生具有语言素质、文化素质、思想素质、自学能力和学习潜能。使学生形成有效的学习策略,激发和培养学习兴趣,养成良好的学习习惯,注重对学生听、说、读、写综合技能的全面训练,获得基本的语言交际能力,为学生的发展和终身学习打下良好的基础。
Teaching English is the basical science in the middle school ,There are two different education ideas,they are education for all - round development and examination - oriented education system. It＇ s an important task for the English teacher to train the students to have the linguistic making,culturemaking,ideasmaking,ability of self - study and studying potential. So we must improve on our teaching methods, set up the linguistic situation and make them be interested in learning English. I think we should train the students to get the linguistic competence and pragmatic competence by listening speaking reading and writing English. It＇s very necessary to make a goodbasic for the students＇ learning and development in all their life.
