摘要
文化是语言的载体,语言受文化因素的制约。中英文化的差异直接制约着颜色词的翻译,汉译英时可采取直译(意译)加注的方法。
Culture is the carrier of the language, and language is limited by the culture factor. Sino - English culture difference restricts the translation of the color words, chinese - english translation could adopt the literary translation （ free translation） with note added method.
